JOB KNOWLEDGE
How well is the job understood? Job Knowledge is the amount of job relevant knowledge and skill an employee has. This may include
awareness, possesion or mastery of special facts, practices, manual skills and techniques, desicion-making methods, supervision skills etc.
An employee with a high level of job knowledge would be capable of performing most if not all of the normal tasks in their job indepenently. An
employee with a low level of jobknowledge would require regular guidance and support from others in order to complete even normal tasks.
Rationate: If employees do not have an acceptable level of job knowledge, they will be unable to complete
normal job duties, leading to many difficulties, including inefficiencies, rising costs, excessive supervision, risks to
safety and risk of harm to members, guests, client and customer relationships as well as fellow employees.

WORK QUALITY
What are the standards of the work produced? Work quality describes the standard for the work produced by the employee. This may include
accurasy, tidyness, presentability of work, consistancy of high standards, hygen etc.
An employee with a high level of work quality would project the required image to the member, customer, guests and co-workers and guarantee
a smooth work flow, independently. An employee with a low level of work quality would require others to keep the output up to standards
Rationate: If employees do not achieve the acceptable level of of standard for the work produced, they will be unable to complete normal job
duties, leading to many difficulties, including inefficiencies, rising costs, excessive supervision, risks to safety and risk of harm to members,
guests, client and customer relationships as well as fellow employees.

TIME KEEPING
Is the employee timely in all his work related issues? Time Keeping describes whether the employee shows up in timeto work, meetings,
social getherings. It also includes the keeping to dead lines and project dates.
An employee with a high level of Time Keeping would highly contribute to the continuous progress of projects and to high guest satisfaction. An
employee with a low level of Time Keeping would require others to complete his assignements (or job if let for duty) and would hold up the operation
Rationate: If employees display a bed time keeping the company potentially loses money by not completing tasks in time which would increase
guest satisfaction and therefore also generate additional revenue, potentially leading to increased costs (because others have to complete the
the tasks) and subsiquently to a decrease in profitablity of the entire operation.

COMMUNICATIONS
How does the employee communicate with guests, co workers and superiors? Communications describes the ability to converse and to
communicate effectively within the frame of work. This may include passing of information to co-workers and superiors as well as communication accurasy, tidyness, presentability of work, consistancy of high standards, hygen etc.

stands for, leading to many difficulties, including guest complaints, inefficiencies, lost of sales and excessive supervision and potentially increased
costs.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
What are the standards of the work produced? Interpersonal Relations describes the relationships with the immediate peers, supervisors,
suppliers and guests. This may include the conduct of speach, respect for one and another and general personal conduct.
An employee with a high level of Interpersonal Relations would project to required image to the member, customer, guests and co-workers and guarantee
a professional work environment at all times. An employee with a low level of Interpersonal Relations would spark unrest with the work environment
Rationate: If employees do not achieve the acceptable level of of standard for the work produced, they will be creating a tense and unprofessional
work environment, leading to many difficulties, including inefficiencies, rising costs, excessive supervision, risks to safety and risk of harm to members,
guests, client and customer relationships as well as fellow employees.

INITIATIVE - CREATIVENESS
Does the employee display a creative approach in carrying out the tasks? Initiave and Creativeness describes level of selfmovited actions.
This may include creative and for the goals of the enterprise beneficial - sometimes new - approaches in increasing sales, enhancing operationalthe conduct of speach, respect for one and another and general personal conduct.

harm to members, guests, client and customer relationships as well as fellow employees.

POLICY COMPLIANCE
How well does the employee apply policies and procedures? Policy Compliance describes the ability of the employee to carry out and realise
the standards and procedures introduced by the manager. This includes but is not limited to the procedures formulated in the manuals, job descriptions
policies released in course of the duty and day to day instructions given out by the immediate supervisor.An employee with a high level of Policy
Compliance ensures a professional work environment at all times. An employee with a low level of Policy Compliance would spark unrest.
Rationate: If employees do not achieve the acceptable level of policy compliance they will be creating a confused and unprofessional
work environment, leading to many difficulties, including inefficiencies, rising costs, excessive supervision, risks to safety and risk of harm to members,
and coworkers

HYGIENE
Hygiene describes the personal hygiene of the employee as well as adherence to all the hygiene regulations relevant in the cause of
the work. This may include proper appearance (uniform, clean fingernails, shaven, not smelly, mouth hygiene) - as outlined in the employee handbook - and the proper keeping of the work environment (clean and tidy, representable and organised). An employee with a high level of Hygiene would try to project the required image to the member,customer, guests and co-workers and guaranteea professional work environment at all times. An employee with a low level of Hygiene would endanger both the immediate work environment as wellas the entire operation.
Rationate: If employees do not achieve the acceptable level of hygiene, they are risking deseaces to spread and to potentially illness amongst
members and co-workers alike. In extrem cases the entire operation can even be closed down by official organs.

BUDGET AWARENESS
Is the employee aware of the budgeted and financial targets? Budget Awareness describes the knowledge of the employee of the financial
targets and the active contribution to achieve and exceed the same within an outside their respective department. This may include suggestions,
active implimentation of revenue enhancing activities as wellas massures to cut costs and to work more efficiently and economically and therefore
improving the productivity and profitability of the immediate work environment and the entire operation.
Rationate: If employees do not display the required level of budget awareness, the profitability of the entire operation is jeopardised and the
investor does not obtain the best possible return on the investment. As a direct result further investments can not be made and the operation is taken
of the opportunity to grow continously.
